LGBT (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender) Pride Month is celebrated in the month of June every year. During this month, many pride events are held to recognize the impact LGBT people have in the world. The significance of the month of June is that it commemorates the Stonewall Riots (also known as the Stonewall Uprising) – this year marks the 50th Anniversary of this event.
